Still Celebrating.....

I love getting cards and sharing with you designs created by my friends. I received this card for my birthday from my upline and BFF, Karen H. Karen used my favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp set, PUNCH BUNCH.

And check out this cake....isn't it beautiful? My neighbor, Diane, baked it for me for my birthday. I hope you will take time to see her other creations at "thatsgoodcake.tripod.com". Diane is so talented. I put the cake in the freezer saving it until we celebrate AGAIN this weekend when my husband is here.

Can't wait to cut into it ~ know it is going to be delicious!

I'm glad you stopped by today; hope to see you again soon! Have a good one!

Stampin'Up! SALE-A-BRATION Ends March 31, 2011

I'M BACK

THANKS FOR JOINING ME TODAY

I had a wonderful trip to NC to visit family and friends but have to admit it is so good to be back home with my stamps! I've missed them!

For my post today, I'm using two Sale-A-Bration sets ~ Bliss and So Happy For You. These sets were !!!FREE!!! Please check my SU Website under the Sale-A-Bration Promotion to find out how you too can receive free products. The Sale-A-Bration Promotion ends March 31st so don't delay.

I used Soft Suede, Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla card stock and ink. Don't you just love the Adornment Vintage Flower in the center of the card? You can find those in the Occasions Mini Catalog which expires April 30, 2011. You'll also notice I ran the Very Vanilla card stock through the Big Shot using a background Texturz Plate.

A week ago today Kelly H (seated on the sofa in the center) hosted a get together for ladies that were in my Bible Study Group back in Mooresville. Kelly baked scones and had coffee (YUM). It was wonderful to spend some time and have fellowship with these "Women of Worth". I feel very blessed to have these ladies in my life.

I hope you'll join me again tomorrow for more stamping ideas. Have a great day!

Don't forget Sale-A-Bration, Stampin'Ups! biggest promotion every year, is in full swing through March 31st. Both the DSP and buttons were FREE! Gotta love it!

Stampin'Up! PUNCH BUNCH - Part 5

Here's the last of my five part series using the PUNCH BUNCH Sale-A-Bration set. Today's stamp is "Welcome Baby". I used Wild Wasabi, So Safron and Whisper White card stock ; Delicate Dots designer series paper (retired); Wild Wasabi and So Safron markers; Wild Wasabi ink pad; White Grosgrain ribbon; Word Window and Modern Label punches and Fundamental Phrases stamp set. Please note what a little piece of DSP was used....that's why it's a good idea to save those scraps even if the DSP is retired.
Thanks for stopping by today; hope you'll stop by again soon.
Have a great Tuesday!

Stampin'Up! PUNCH BUNCH - Part 4

Thanks for joining me today for Part 4 of cards made using the PUNCH BUNCH Sale-A-Bration stamp set. For those who have a Sale-A-Bration Catalog, you can find this card on page 5. I did make a couple of changes. I'm to the point in my business that I rarely create but rather CASE (copy and share everything). My thinking is why recreate the wheel with so many ideas out there.
For this card, I used Soft Sable, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock; In Color DSP pack; Ice Cream Parlor button (FREE SAB product); Gel Pen; Linen Thread and Dimensionals. I also used the Big Shot and Go Go Boots Alphabet Sizzlit Die. Just a tip ~ getting the letters relatively straight is easy when you use DSP that has some sort of grid.
The letters are adhered using the XYRON create-a-sticker. My friend and downline, Michelle, got me hooked on this little gadget. It's great for cards and scrapbooking.
I hope you will return to see Part 5 of the PUNCH BUNCH card assortment.
Have a great Monday; take time to stamp something today!

Stampin'Up! PUNCH BUNCH - Part 3

GOOD MORNING AND HAPPY SUNDAY!
My third post using the PUNCH BUNCH stamp set features the owl. Isn't he cute? The beauty of this
SET is that you can use SU's punches with each stamp. However, instead of using the
punch today, I just used my markers and colored directly on the stamp to show you that you don't have to have the punch to use the stamp.
I used Pear Pizzazz, Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White card stock; Greenhouse Gala and In-Color Pack designer paper; Two Step Bird Extra Large, Word Window and Modern Label punches; Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon and the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set along with the Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight, Baja Breeze and Pumpkin Pie markers.
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. I Thessalonians 5:28

Stampin'Up! PUNCH BUNCH - Part 2

I hope you're off to a good start on your weekend and have allotted some time to stamp.
Today is my second post using the PUNCH BUNCH Sale-A-Bration set that is FREE when you purchase $50.00 in SU merchandise (excluding shipping/handling and taxes).
I decided to make a masculine birthday card with this particular stamp using the Basic Gray, Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla card stock along with Elegant Soiree designer series paper.
Some of you are probably thinking, why did I use the scallop for a guy?
Well I thought I could get away with it being that there are scallops in the DSP and I added
the Corduroy Kraft buttons to give it that masculine look and hopefully offset the scallops.
Have a great Saturday; please check back to see my next post using this same set.

I used Daffodil Delight card stock, 1/8" ribbon and marker, Whisper White card stock, Pear Pizzazz card stock and marker, Greenhouse Gala DSP (my fav), Scallop Circle and 1 1/4" Circle Punches and the gel pen. This is another simple and easy layout; one that's good for most any occasion.
