I don't know about you but I struggle coming up with masculine cards.

My share today is a simple card I designed for our son's 32 birthday which is coming up this weekend. I used the Well Worn Designer Series Paper with Not Quite Navy card stock. Other Stampin'Up! products used: Decorative Label Punch, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and On Your Birthday stamp set.
And for the inside I ran a piece of Very Vanilla card stock through the Big Shot using the Top Note Die. The sentiment is also from the On Your Birthday stamp set.
I know Easter is over but I had to share with you these treats I made for our family get together.
They were a hit and the Snicker eggs were enjoyed by all!
Tomorrow I will share with you the Easter cards I received from fellow stampers.

Stampin'Up! Easter Bunny made out of PUNCHES

Thanks for stopping by.....as you've probably noticed I've been missing for a few days. My sister came to town on Tuesday and returned to the Carolinas Saturday. We got caught up on some "sister time" which was great but I hated to see her go.

Today's share is the bag I made to put our granddaughter's Easter treats in. This picture does not do it justice. These bags are so simple and can be used for any occasion.

The bag is made using a paper lunch sack with cardstock cut a half inch wider than the sack and with the top of the sack cut to the height that you'd like. I CASED the bunny on the top note die from a fellow demonstrator, Connie Babbert. Even though Easter is over maybe this will give you some inspiration for next year. Hope to see you back again soon! Have a wonderful day.

Stampin'Up! PROJECT CLASS (Part 4)

Let's have chocolate instead of flavored water mix...how about it? Most of you have seen these I'm sure but instead of putting that pack of flavored water mix in the pouch, I thought a small Easter bunny would be fitting for the Easter season.

Once again, if you need dimensions, I'll be glad to share. Thank for stopping by!

Happy Easter

I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.
John 11:25-26

As you celebrate this Easter day please remember:
More than Easter bunnies
and chocolate eggs galore
is the cross of Calvary
the sacrifice of our Lord
for Jesus is the reason
we all can celebrate
and come to Him to freely receive
his love and saving grace

Stampin'Up! Easter Treat Holder

Today I'm showing you another quick and easy treat holder for Easter....one that really doesn't hold that much candy. It would be great for kids classmates. It's made from a 6x6 piece of DSP. You can embellish however you'd like. On this particular one, I just stamped Easter Wishes and added a bow.
For instructions on how to make, please email me at shirleym@ctc.net.

Stampin'Up! Easter Treat Holder

How cute is this?
I saw a similar holder like this but it used the Big Shot and Box #2 die. Currently I don't have that die so I made the box myself (one of the things I love doing). Supplies are as follows:
Cardstock (page 155, 156, 157): Pixie Pink, Pretty In Pink, Old Olive, Going Gray, Whisper White, Basic Black
Punches (pages 186/187): Scallop Oval, Large Oval, 1 3/4" Circle, 1 1/2" Circle, 3/4" Circle, 1/2" Circle, Modern Label, Word Window. The small punch used for the eyes is retired.
Ribbon (page 183): 5/8" Old Olive
Other things used: Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen (page 190), Soft Subtle Brads (page 179), retired DSP for inside of bunny's ears

If you have questions or would like dimensions to this treat holder, please email me at shirleym@ctc.net. Please check my blog tomorrow for a smaller Easter candy holder.
