Stampin'Up! French Foliage

Good morning; thanks for stopping by today!
It's that time of year to be thinking of those fall cards even though the temperatures in the Carolinas are still in the 80's during the day. But the nights are getting cooler so fall is not far away. Today's card features the French Foliage stamp set shown on page 14 of the Holiday Mini Catalog. I used More Mustard, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla card stock. This card was cased but I changed it up a bit to suit me. The Scallop Square (that became a rectangle by cutting) and the leaf were both cut using the Big Shot. Check out the Big Designer Button which is also in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

If you follow my blog you know that I attended SU's Regional in Columbia, SC this past Friday. Beginning today I will be showing swaps from that event in hopes that it will inspire you to get out your stamps and make a card for someone.

Stampin'Up! Autumn Splendor

Thanks for stopping by today.
Will fall temperatures ever get here? Not fast enough for some of us Carolinians.
I'm sharing with you today another card Sue designed for our Clubs that met earlier this week. She used the Autumn Splendor stamp set shown on page 119 of the 2010-11 IB&C along with a background stamp that's retired; Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla card stock and ink; Crumb Cake ink was also used.
This is such a simple layout but so pretty!

NOTE: for those that have ordered the French Foliage stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog (page 14), what a great layout!

Stampin'Up! Falling Leaves Stamp Set & Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper

The Glitter Girls' bi-monthly club met Tuesday and here are the two cards I CASED for their get together. The first card uses the Falling Leaves stamp set. I used Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron and Tangerine Tango card stock and ink. You'll notice, to give texture to this card, I used the Lattice Embossing Folder on the Chocolate Chip piece and the ladies used one of the leaves in the Falling Leaves set to stamp the solid piece of So Saffron. On the second card, there's barely any stamping BUT didn't it turn out pretty? The base of the card is Early Espresso. Other colors used: Old Olive, More Mustard and Cajun Craze. The designer paper is featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog and is called Autumn Spice. The leaf is cut out with the Big Shot and Leaves #2 Die.
Both cards can be used for most any fall occasion.
The Hewitt Punchers' bi-monthly club met last night and I used these same
cards; everyone loved them!
