Stampin'Up! Plaid Technique

This is one of the card's Sue designed for our Technique Classes which we held yesterday. This technique is called "plaid". She used the Fresh Cut stamp set: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler inks; Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla card stock and the ribbon is Old Olive. Stampin'Up! Watercolor Technique

Here's the second card I designed for the Technique Class Sue and I are having today. This technique is called "watercoloring". I used SU markers, SU watercolor paper and a spritz of water. The stamp set used is Lovely as a Tree and card stock is Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. Check back tomorrow for the two cards Sue designed for the class.

Stampin'Up! Ghosting Technique

The Baja Breeze just did not show up on my blog, even though in person it is very pretty, so I redid the card using Night of Navy to show you the detail of ghosting. If you'd like to know more about the technique, please email me. Thanks!

Tuesday Sue and I are having two technique classes; a morning and evening class. At the class we will be showing four techniques to take your cards up a notch. Karen H, my upline, designed this card. This design can be used for a lot of occasions. Karen used one of my favorite items in the new SU Catalog, the Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper.

Stampin'Up! Downline Get Together

Here are three of our other shares from last night.

The picket fence was designed by Lisa P. What a neat idea! This design could also be used for a scrapbook page.


Our next card was designed by Michelle R. Michelle used several of SU's new colors and the flowers are made using SU's circle punches.

Last but not least, Donna S. designed this cute card. I doubt you can see it in the photo, but the technique Donna showed us looks like the dog is actually running. What a great masculine card idea.

Stampin'Up! 1 3/4" Circle Punch

Today is my sister, Sue's, birthday and this is the card I made and sent to her. I hope it made it through the mail in one piece.

To make use the 1 3/4" circle punch and punch 5 circles. Then fold each circle in the middle to use as your guide, open the circle back up (flat) and then fold over the designer paper from the underneath side to form a "v" on the front side. Once you have all 5 done, then start your assembly. If you need further help or direction, please email me at shirleym@ctc.net. This is a great way to use retired DSP.
