Stampin'Up! Wellness Wishes & Ribbon of Hope

My second cousin (just 33 years old) has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. I wanted to share with you the card I made for her using the Wellness Wishes and Ribbon of Hope stamp sets. The little flower used as a background is from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. I used Regal Rose, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock; Black and White gingham ribbon and the Scallop Trim Border punch.
Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by today!

  1. Hi Shirley,
I stumbled upon you in Etsy, and then discovered your blog. I have been a demo for SU since January, and am very inspired by all of your work. I am working on getting a craft business up and running. On my Facebook page, Pattercraft, I like to share "pretties" that other crafters have created. I'd like to post some of your things, if that's all right with you. I hesitate in asking because I have run across other demonstrators online who ask current demonstrators to not subscribe to their newsletters and the like. I am only looking to network, share, and inspire. And to say thank you for stamping daily. It seems like it would be good medicine.
    Yours, Caryn

  2. Hi Caryn, thank you for your kind remarks and I'm glad you've gained some inspiration from my blog. Blogging is somewhat new to me and it gives me motivation to keep it up when I receive comments like yours. Thank you! I have been a SU Demo since January, 2005. My sister, also a SU Demo, and I work as a team. We currently have 5 bi-monthly clubs and 2 monthly camps. Needless to say, it's a relief that I only have to prepare for half of each event. I am not on Facebook but am interested to know if you have a blog and/or SU website. I would be flattered for you to post some of my things...it's all about loving what you do and sharing what you love in hopes to make a difference in someone elses life. Best of luck to you in your craft business. Kindest regards, Shirley
