STAMPIN'UP! Demo Get Together

Sue, my sister/SU cohort, and I had a get together with our downline Tuesday evening. Everyone was to bring a "technique" to share with the others. I wanted to show what these ladies came up with.

Donna S. who has been a demo for 3 years shared with us the saran wrap technique. Instead of using sponges for the background, we wadded up saran wrap and put that directly onto the ink pad and then on the paper. It made such a pretty design. She used the Happy Moments stamp set from the SAB catalog.

Michelle R., a new demonstrator who signed up in January, has a passion for scrapbooking. She designed this 6x6 scrapbook page using the Define Your Life and Live Like You Mean It (retired) stamp sets along with the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch and Sweet Pea Stitched Felt flowers featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Sue showed us how to make this flower pin using the Big Shot and Flower Folds Die. She brought her button jar and let us each pick a button from her stash.

I showed the group how to make this double pocket card. I put a Hershey bar in the back pocket. In the front pocket you could place a gift card or sentiment. I used the Shades of Spring DSP and Sweet Pea Stitched Felt flowers from the Occasions Mini.

We missed Karen G. and Lisa P. but hope they can join us next time. Thanks ladies for all you do and especially for sharing your talents with us.

Do something good for yourself; stamp daily!
