Stampin'Up! LOVELY AS A TREE & TAGS TIL CHRISTMAS Stamp Sets

My final Christmas card share for the year was made by Doris D. Doris used the LOVELY AS A TREE stamp set to make the branches and the ornament is out of the TAGS TIL CHRISTMAS set. The traditional Christmas colors are so perfect for this card.

Doris used a dimensional to pop up the ornament.
I want to thank each of you who took the time and made the effort to send us a handmade card this Christmas. May you and yours be blessed with a prosperous New Year!

Here's Laura and her newest American Girl Doll, Julie, just before leaving for our walk. My Mom made the crocheted hoodie that Julie is wearing for our daughter, Shelley, when she was a baby. Funny how I would not dare let Shelley play with those type things with her dolls but its OK for Laura to. Can you tell I love being a Grame?

Stampin'Up!'s Retired FROSTY

Even though FROSTY is retired, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that continues to hold on to him. Renda T., who held a monthly club while I was in the Carolinas, designed and sent us this card. I love it!

A closer view of FROSTY! Personally I don't think there's been another snowman as cute since he retired.

One thing I love about being a Stampin'Up! demonstrator is the friendships we make. . . and that's how I met Renda. A mutual friend of ours just happened to invite her to one of her camps and the rest is history. Thank you Renda for the holiday wishes ~ I miss you!
What a perfect ending to a beautiful day!
I have one more Christmas share so I hope you will join me again tomorrow. Happy Friday!

Another CHRISTMAS CARD Share

Ginger E., one of my monthly stampers while in the Carolinas, sent us this beautiful card. Cherry Cobbler card stock from Stampin'Up! was used for the base. I'm not familiar with the other items used but I do love the color combination.

Here's a close up of the stickers used on the front.

Thanks to Ginger for remembering us in such a special way. Thanks to you for stopping by and I hope you'll check back tomorrow for another Christmas card share. Have a great day!

Stampin'Up! CHRISTMAS LODGE Stamp Set

Another CHRISTMAS LODGE share....received from my friend and downline, Donna S. Donna used the Big Shot and Top Note Die on her card. You'll notice how she sponged around the edges to add a bit of texture. This picture does not do this card justice. Donna used glitter on the trees and roof top which made the card pop!

Here's a closer view of the lodge which gives you a glimpse of some of the sparkle. Very pretty indeed!
Thanks Donna for remembering us with such a beautiful card!
For those visiting my blog today, I hope you will stop by tomorrow for another handmade card we received this holiday season. Until next time, happy stamping!

SNOWMAN Christmas Card

My share today is the first Christmas card we received and was made by our life-long friend, Bernice M.

I can't imagine doing all this coloring much less cutting this little guy out but didn't he turn out cute?
A close up to show off the details ~ notice the snowflakes in the background.
Thanks Bernice for remembering us with such a cute card. Stay tuned tomorrow for another handmade card we received. Have a great day and thanks for joining me! Do something good for yourself; stamp daily!

Stampin'Up! CHRISTMAS LODGE Stamp Set

Beginning today and continuing through the New Year, I am going to share the handmade cards I received from friends this holiday season. This first one using the CHRISTMAS LODGE stamp set was sent by my upline and BFF, Karen H. I love the color combination and can't believe the details involved.

A close up of the top of the card.
Now for the bottom of the card - check out the details of the lodge. Love it!

For the inside of the card, Karen used a stamp out of the SEASONAL SENTIMENTS stamp set which is retired.

Thank you Karen for the lovely card! And, thank YOU for stopping by today. Even though Christmas is over
remember JESUS is the reason for the season. Have a wonderful day!

Stampin'Up! MERRY (retired) Stamp Set

My share today is the Christmas card I made for our granddaughter. The Santa idea came from my downline, Michelle.

Santa is made using the Blossom Petals Builder Punch. Go to Michelle's blog, simplycrafted.blogspot.com, for more details on how to make him. Below is the inside of the card.

"MERRY" is another one of those stamp sets that I just can't part with but I must say this is the first card I've made using it in awhile. I especially love the sentiment ~ think of Christmas, think of snow, think of Santa, ho ho ho! You'll notice on the front of the card, I used the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder and sponged the embossed areas with Blushing Bride ink. Then to make the Santa stand out against the white background, I ran Brushed Silver card stock through the Big Shot using the Snowflakes Set #2 Sizzlit.
Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to visit with me today. I hope to see you back here soon!

Stampin'Up! THE SOUNDING JOY Stamp Set

Today I'm sharing another card made at one of my "Christmas In July" classes using THE SOUNDING JOY stamp set. I cased this card from my upline, Karen H, and it's one of my favorites of all the cards made during these sessions.

And this past Sunday, our granddaughter was able to join us. She loves to get together with the stampin ladies!

It's really beginning to feel like Christmas here in TX ~ the high will be in the 50's today with 15-25 MPH winds ~ BURR

Thank you for joining me today and hope to see you back here soon. Have a great Tuesday!

Stampin'Up! Textured Impressions EMBOSSING FOLDERS

Happy Friday! Hopefully you've had a great week and you enjoyed your Thanksgiving with family and friends. It's hard to believe 23 days from today is Christmas!

One of my friends back in the Carolinas' mother passed away so I'm sharing with you today the quick sympathy card I made for her using the ELEGANT LINES embossing folder.

I love the detail of this folder. You'll notice I added three Stampin'Up!' PEARL JEWELS. Once again, I think in 3s, 5s and 7s.
I hope I've given you some inspiration to get out your embossing folders and make some quick, simple cards. Thanks for joining me today and I hope you have a great weekend. Until next time, do something good for yourself and stamp daily!
